This station was established for everyone to use and enjoy, especially during this time of solar inactivity, to keep in touch with those friends we made far away when Solar Cycle 23 was hot, but most importantly to keep an avenue of communication available when most needed in times of emergency. But not everyone will be able to use it. Computer memory and speed, internet connection speed, and your personal capabilities play a very big role. We will attempt to set you up as fast as we can,..but we also don't have the time that some people require. The instructions given are very precise,..if you follow them, you should have no problems.

You will, from time to time, run into other hams who do not approve of this as a method of "REAL HAM RADIO". In the event of such an encounter,..you will     1. Thank him first for the (short) qso. 2. Thank the REMOTE STATION NP2KW,."FOR HAVING MADE THIS HF CONTACT BETWEEN US POSSIBLE" 3. Say 73,.. then "QRZ de ......". Do not engage in any heated debate.

CQWW SSB has added the X-treme Class Category to it's contest to begin this Oct. 2009. I am looking for operators to take part as a REMOTE MULTI-OP-SINGLE-TX Station working as KP2DX. Please e-mail me to arsnp2kw@gmail.com for further details.

QSL's,.. all contacts made on the NP2KW REMOTE are via qsl mgr NP2KW,..info in QRZ.COM,..so make sure to tell your contacts this.

With that said I will like to thank you for your interest,..and hopefully this will guide you into establishing your own remote station for ME to use, hi hi,..help others to simply get on the air when they can't be at their qth,.. and aid in the real purpose of amateur radio,..emergency communication. So while u wait for Solar Cycle 24 to start at your qth,..me and the rest will be making contacts on these links 24/7, wherever the propagation is best at that remote's time.

ENJOY!!-----73 DE NP2KW.
